So a career plan helps you focus on what you want to do when you leave school. Any plan involves setting goals and targets. A goal is your main objective and targets are the steps you take to achieve that objective. For example a career goal can be a specific job you want to do such as be a doctor or teacher; or a career goal can be a particular area you want to work in, such as medicine or education.
